BaZi tells you about the shape of a life. Zi Wei tells you about the parts of it. If you want to know why work keeps going wrong while everything else is fine, the Career palace is where you look — and the answer is usually about which star landed there rather than about your overall structure.
Palaces are also read in relation to each other: the Spouse palace opposite the Life palace, the Wealth palace against the Career palace. Pairs matter as much as single readings.
